#the greatest barrier to wearing contact lenses is having eyelashes and eyes that dont naturally open very wide#putting my contact in and experiencing immediate pain because something got caught between the lens and the eye#saw something caught in my eyelashes and pulled it out but it was just a really long curled lash. wtf#one time the optometrist had to tape my eyelids open for the retinal imaging bc i couldnt keep my eyes open wide enough :/
